Estimated Wt: 7 lbs

Giant fossilized palm frond on a matrix of limestone with a "school" of fossil fish, of five different species, dancing around it.
It dates back 52 million years when Wyoming was sub-tropical and palm trees abound.
This is the largest and finest fossil of its kind to be found in over a hundred years.
Photograph courtesy of CBS Sunday Morning. (Museum rendering of the fossil palm below).

Dimensions: 13' 6" high x 12' 3" wide x 5.5" deep
(14'5" to the top of the fossil as it hangs on the wall)
(On reserve for acquisition as part of the

"We all were overwhelmed by the beauty of the specimens in your collection.

The experience was unique, and one we won't soon forget."

Linda T. Deck, Exhibit Developer, Geology, Gems, and Minerals, National Museum of Natural History, Smithsonian Institution.

A two ton+, giant quart crystal, discovered in the early 1980s in Namibia, S.W. Africa. It is one of the oldest giant crystals
on the planet, dating back 520 million years which is 250 million years older than the earliest dinosaurs that  ever roamed the earth.

Dimensions:50" wide x 57" deep x 41" high
Estimated Wt: 4,200 lbs.

"You've created a garden of immortality."

Fred Alan Wolf, quantum physicist, author of Taking The Quantum Leap
and recipient of the American Book Award.

An exquisite Fontainebleau natural sculpture formed by super-heated hot springs jetting through very fine quartz sand,
where the movement of the water swirling through the sand was captured for eternity in these incomprehensibly
exotic forms through a cooling process that involved the solidification of calcium carbonate
dissolved in the super heated water . Over two million year old, from France.

Dimensions:  25" x 20" x 15" (looks somewhat larger in the photo)
Estimated Wt. 185 lbs. to 220 lbs.

A two ton giant amethyst geode with brilliant purple amethyst crystals.  One of the finest giant amethyst geodes
to ever have come out of Brazil. Formed 180 million years ago in ancient volcanic basalt.  From Rio Grande de Sol.

Dimensions: 73" x 48" x 41"
Estimated Wt: 3,800 lbs. to 4,100 lbs.
(On reserve for acquisition as part of the
full Masterpieces of The Earth Collection)

A fossilized ammonite with exquisite suture patterning on the surface which trace where the animal attached
itself to the inside of its shell. The fossil has been meticulously prepared on both sides so it presents
beautifully 360 degrees around. The opening of the fossil shell has also been carefully prepared
so you can see directly into the internal structures of the animal itself.
From Madagascar. Approx 150 million years old.

Dimensions: 30.5" x 24" x 5"
Estimated Wt: 240 lbs

A crown of brilliant pink rose quartz crystals on a single crystal of quartz with green tourmaline crystals
suspended inside of the quartz crystal (other side of the crystal below). From Minas Gerais, Brazil.

Dimensions: 7.5" x 6" x 5"
Estimated Wt. 8 lbs

"A fabulous collection of the best."

Professor Edwin Roedder, Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences,

Harvard University, Cambridge, Massachusetts.

A giant, two million year old 'natural sculpture' concretion from Fontainebleau, France. This is one of the four largest
and finest pieces of its kind in the world and presents fabulously 360 degrees around. Between 1988 and 1991,
we acquired all of the  Fontainebleau concretions from the greatest discovery in the last 350 years.
The previous find of this scale was in the mid 1600s and all the pieces wound up in the private
gardens of King Louis the X1V at the Versailles Palace.

There was also a small discovery around 1910/ 1915 with some of those "natural sculptures" acquired
by Henry Moore, Jean Arp, Constantine Brancusi, the National Museum of Natural History in Paris,
and a number of the French Surrealists. To the best of our knowledge, every museum of
natural history in the United States that has a Fontainebleau concretion, including the Smithsonian Museum
of Natural History in D.C., acquired them from our Masterpieces of The Earth Collection.

Dimensions: 51" wide x 26" deep x 54" high (including 7" base)
Estimated Wt:  2,600 lbs. to 3,100 lbs.
